Ultimate Forex Predictor Review – next generation

First thoughts on TUFXP Next Generation from our reviewer …

  • My decision to switch down from the 30 min charts to trade the 15min time frame has worked against me this week, however the 60min trades have still done well.

    With any system the shorter the time frame, the more false signals you get and this needs to be balanced against the number of trades, success rate and the risk reward ratio.

    My feeling is the shorter time frames will be much more volatile with great winning runs as well as some bigger draw-downs.

    Since 13.3.14

    60min trades

    17 Trades
    13 winners of 20 pips = 260 pips profit
    4 losses of 34.5 pips = 138 pip loss
    76.47% Winning Trade Ratio
    Total = 122 pip profit

    30min trades

    4 Trades (many more would have been triggered but I switched to 15 min charts as the 30min and 60min trade signaled were often duplicated).
    3 winners of 20 pips = 60 pips profit
    1 loss of 24 pips = 24 pip loss
    75% Winning Trade Ratio
    Total = 36 pip profit

    15 min trades

    24 Trades
    10 winners of 20 pips = 200 pips profit
    14 losses of 23 pips = 322 pip loss
    41.67% Winning Trade Ratio
    Total = 122 pip loss

    TUFXP only trades, out of the box, GU and EU. However, I think you could establish other pairs if you wanted to giving you more scope to spread your risk.

    Kind regards,

  • Because I don’t want to be tied to my computer I have registered to receive SMS alerts when a trade is triggered.

    There are 3 places in the life of a trade where you can get alerted:
    a) when a potential trade is spotted to be shaping up, but not ready to be placed
    b) when the potential trade has reached its required level, and an actual trade can be opened
    c) when the trade hits its stop or target

    I have opted to only have category (a) sent to me by SMS, as each message sent costs about 5p.

    I have been running the system since Monday 10th March 2014, initially on GBPUSD 30m and 60m, and EURUSD 30m and 60m timeframes, however part way through the week I switched to
    15m and 60m charts.

    I have had 16 trades triggered – 13 of these have closed for 20 pips profit each and the other for a 24pip loss. One of the trades went over into the next day, but all the rest opened and closed on the same day.

    So far, then, the performance is impressive. A high win rate, and a 1:1 ratio.

    But early days.

    As I am trading the 15m and 60m, a few of the trades were doubled up, one each. This obviously is not a good idea as would be doubling the risk, but I’ve recorded them anyway to show a complete picture.

    Regards,
