I scored 14. Where are the results please? Also, the recommendation to look in the free Learn Forex book is completely unhelpful. For example I have no idea what GDP estimates are and a search on that within your Learn Forex PDF PDF produces nothing.
Wouldn’t it have been far more useful to simply provide the answers with accompanying explanations please?

Hi Peter, apologies for the slow reply – I’ve been away on holiday. Thanks for your feedback on the quiz. Points taken and I’ll be making adjustments to this now. Mark
Craig
I scored 18 – however I think the answer to Q.17 should be 87.990? Giving me 19 possibly? 🙂
Mark Rose
Hi Craig,
the value of a pip on USD/JPY is 0.01 rather than the more normal 0.0001.
So 87.96 + 0.30 (30 pips) = 88.26

Great test. 6,8,9,15,16 wrong shows a weakness in fundamentals. Thanks, Mark.

I have 3,12,16,18,20 wrong. Good test.

I am surprised that jewlery given as main use for gold considering the many tons held by central banks, and still being bought by them, as well as all the investment holdings by ETFs such as GLD.

Surprisingly! I got 15/20! Q.14 was a guess I got right and Q.15 I got wrong.
P.S. I’ve got so much to do at home, I still couldn’t resist this quiz. Well done Mark.

Question:
How to know when to buy or sell to make minimum 1:3 risk:reward.
only IQ i think that matters.

6, 8,11,20 all wrong… Should at least have got No.11 right. 🙁
Hold my head in shame ! (Now, who can I blame !).

What a good idea, especially when its snowing.
For me my main failure was the numerical questions Q5,Q11&Q17 I really must practice simple arithmatic.

Hi Nigel, the value of a pip can vary from currency pair to currency pair. On USD/JPY it is 0.01 rather than the normal 0.0001

Scored 16
Is answer to question 17 correct ?

Scored 17 –
Mark – It would be a good idea to do this quiz on a monthly basis

Urgh! Too ashamed to post my results! Back to school for me.
Mark Rose
Not a bad result! Thanks for pointing out the error – should be fixed now.

Scored 15… Question #7 has some discrepancy.. The answers in the survey and the answers in the test results are different.
